I’m Shandi - Your online personal trainer


I've been exactly where you are. Showing up, doing your best, but feeling like your training has no real direction or progression.

You know the basic movements and enjoy being active, but there's a big difference between exercising and training with a real purpose. Without a structured plan and someone in your corner, it's easy to go through the motions and wonder why things aren't really changing.

Together we'll build a program with real progressions, tailored to where you are and where you want to go, so every session has a reason behind it and you can feel yourself getting stronger week by week.

Meet your coach

Hi, I'm Shandi. I have a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and certifications in personal training and nutrition, which means there's real science behind everything I put in your program. But what I'm most proud of is the way I coach. I believe training should feel challenging and rewarding, not overwhelming or impossible to fit into your life.

I work with women all over the world, fully online, and I bring the same warmth, attention and care to every session whether we're training live together or I'm reviewing your progress from the other side of the world.

Outside of coaching, you'll usually find me lifting, hiking, or hunting down the best cappuccino in town.

history

How it all started

Coaching isn't something I stumbled into. It's something I worked my way towards through sport, study, travel and a whole lot of figuring things out along the way. Here's how it happened.

2001

I started competitive swimming at a young age, and from that point on, sport was always a big part of my life. Training and competing taught me early on what it feels like to work towards something and actually get there.

2015-2020

I spent several years coaching competitive swimmers, and quickly realised how much I loved helping people improve. Being on the other side of the process, watching someone grow, felt just as rewarding as competing myself.

2014-2019

From the moment I discovered Kinesiology, I knew it was exactly what I wanted to study. The science behind how the human body moves, adapts and performs genuinely fascinated me, and still does. I graduated with my BSc and had found the foundation that everything I do as a coach is built on.

2018-2019

Alongside my studies, I assisted the Head Athletic Therapist working with the university's women's rugby team and both the men's and women's swimming teams. Getting hands-on experience with these highly trained athletes gave me a completely new perspective on what the body is capable of.

2020

Before 2020, the idea of training someone properly through a screen felt like a hard sell. Then the world changed overnight and suddenly everyone was open to it. I launched my coaching business right in the middle of all that uncertainty, and what started as making the best of a strange situation turned into something I genuinely love.

2020-2024

Living and working as a digital nomad taught me that movement matters everywhere, not just in a gym. Staying strong in small spaces and unfamiliar routines shaped how I coach today. Motion is lotion, no matter where you are!

2024

I moved from Canada to the Netherlands, but my clients are still all over the world. Today I coach fully online, helping women build real strength and confidence in a way that fits their actual life.

2025

I joined Zero23, a personal training gym in Haarlem NL, expanding my coaching beyond the online world into in-person training. Working directly with athletes in the gym has deepened my knowledge of strength and conditioning and pushed me to keep growing as a coach, something I think every good coach should never stop doing.

TODAY

More than ever, I'm ready to help more women reach their goals and become the strongest, most confident version of themselves. Whether you're just getting started or ready to take your training to the next level, I'd love to be part of your journey.
