Why are creating habits more sustainable that constantly going on diets?

Have you ever gone on a diet, lost some of the weight you were sick of, then went back to how you were eating pre-diet and gained back all of the weight you lost, plus some? If this resonates with you, you’re not alone. More people that you think have gone through this traumatic experience, and it’s my mission to help you avoid it again.

Now picture this: You get a coach that teaches you how to add habits into your life, without having to restrict yourself. You lose all the weight you wanted to, AND you’ve never felt happier. Plus, you learn how to keep that weight off, so you never have to deal with the feelings that come along with the regain. This sounds much better, right?

Why are habits better?

  • 1️⃣ Habits are the best way to create LONG term success. We start by implementing small, easy habits that take less than 5 minutes. The smaller the habit, the more likely you’ll stick to it. When you stick to it, you’ll get results.
  • 2️⃣ Diets are great for short term results, but in the long run, it’s much easier to fall back in your old ways once the diet is finished. Cue that nasty weight gain after a month of traumatic dieting. Let’s never do that again, okay?
  • 3️⃣ Habits teach you things- diets tell you things. What’s better: to learn something that you can apply throughout all aspects of your life, or follow a strict set of rules for a month, without gaining anything except a bad relationship to food and your body?
  • 4️⃣ Habits don’t make restrictions on things you can/ can’t eat (in moderation). Why would you want to restrict yourself from eating a delicious chocolate ball? 🥺

Diets are so last season. Instead, let’s integrate habits that are sustainable, successful, and fun.
